Hi, thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. You had
head injury 9 days back. It was a low velocity hit. You are conscious, oriented and able to do your activities. All these points are in favour of
" Mild head injury".
You did a good thing - applied ice pack at injury site. It must have taken care of swelling and pain.
Your only concern is "little soreness and tingling" which is still present. For it, you can
- Take rest
- Take painkiller like
diclofenac or
Tylenol after proper prescription.
- Apply icepacks if there is swelling at injury site.
Do not worry about CT head. Currently, your medical condition is good and you don't need any CT head.
If your headache worsens along with
vomiting, then you should get CT head done. It is needed to rule out subacute intracranial bleed. If small bleed, it will be managed conservatively. If large bleed with mass effect, surgery might be needed.
Hope it will clear your doubts. If still in doubt, do let me know.
Thanks. Take care.
