What Causes Sore In Lower Back, Difficult To Urinate After Having Colonoscopy?

Hello doctor, I had a colonoscopy on tuesday and found it difficult to urinate on wednesday. I was relieved when I woke this morning and had a normal urine flow. Im still sore though in my lower back. Will time cure all? Thanks Steve Brown, Daytona Beach Fl YYYY@YYYY

yes this is possible. Colonoscopy may lead to abnormal perineal sensations resulting in inhibitory reflex for micturition. With time as the pain and discomfort of colonoscopy gets over, normal micturition reflexes come back and u void normally. Regarding sore in back, it too will get over with time.
