What Causes Spasms In The Hiatal Hernia Upon Eating Fast?

my hiatal hernia spasms if I eat too fast. No acid reflux just inability to swallow. I have been unable to swallow for a few hours and I was wondering if there are ant spasm drugs. This only happens when I cram too much food too fast but the usual time is 5 min to1 hr max. My MD said don t swallow for a few hrs. I can usually break the food Jam with a big gulp of water and then all is OK. Not this time......
