What Causes Spotting After Stopping Birth Control Pill?

i have been taking birth control pill from last 1 year.Now i didn't take it for a month and my date was 4th. so yesterday i saw some spots so according to my gynec, i started taking zarah(yasmin). but its still not bleeding regularly, all i see is blood spots.

my question is when will i get my regular period??
