What Causes Stomach Pain And Blood In Stools?
I am struggling to with bad stomach pains ,and have just been to the loo and had to assist myself to get my stool out and had hard stool with what looked like blood clot in ,I am constipated from my medication,kind of brighter red ,I am awaiting a spinal fusion op so I don't want to jeopardise that as I have waited a long time to have this I haveno quality of life atm ,what could it be

Hi,
constipation and blood in stools ,it may be due to straining that it self causs pain abdomen.
But we need to rule out what is the reason for all these symptoms.
According to me it may be a hemorrhoids ,that causing problem.
To confirm you can consider few blood tests like complete blood count,ESR CRP, TSH,and if needed colonoscopy or a simple proctoscopy.
IF ITS HEMORRHOIDS THEN YOU can consider SITZ BATH ,that is take a tub with loop water and add salt into that were you can sit inside atleast 3 times a day ,with this consider high fibre diet like green leafy vegetables and have a banana in the night after your dinner and also syp lactifibre 15 ml in the night daily atleast 2-3 weeks and later if needed.
ANd avoid smoking and spicy food.
If its not hemorrhoids then you need get a colonoscopy that we can decide seeing blood reports.
