Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic
I have read the query and understand the discomfort she must be facing, going by the symptoms she is most likely suffering from a
acid reflux disease resulting in an increased acid production causing heart burn, vomiting due to irritation of
esophagus by reflux of acid from stomach especially after eating oily, spicy and caffeine containing products.
I usually advice my patients certain lifestyle modifications for reducing the acidity:
1.Drink plenty of water to neutralize the production of acid.
2.Strictly avoid oily, spicy foodstuffs, caffeine containing products like tea, coffee and aerated drinks.
3.Have light meals at shorter intervals than having heavy meals at long intervals.
4.Fix the timings of the meals, have food early in the night atleast 1-2 hours before you sleep for proper digestion.Do adequate regular exercise.
5.I usually advice my patients antacids like tab.
pantoprazole empty stomach in the morning before meal to decrease the acid levels.
6.If the symptoms are still not relieved I suggest to consult a physician to undergo an
endoscopy to rule out any other cause like
peptic ulcer.
Feel free to ask any further any queries.Take care.
