What Causes Stomach Pain With Frequent Urination After Having Food?

After I ate a salad at noon I felt really full with a bit of that fullness pain in the top of my stomach. Within 2 hours I was having pain when taking a deep breath. The pain is still bothering me. It's ok while I'm sitting, but when I get up, bend down or move too quickly I get shooting pain in the top of my stomach and into my center chest area and kind of around the left side of my back. I thought maybe it was gas, but it doesn't seem to be. I have also noticed frequent urination today and yesterday. Any ideas?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern. Regarding to your symptoms it seems like you are having gastroesophageal reflux, which means that your stomach content returns into your oesophagus which causes pain. That is why you feel pain while breathing or changing positions. My suggestion is to try to take ranitidin once a day, in the morning for a few days. If this doesn't help, than try with pantoprazolum, esomeprazol or omeprazol also once a day in the morning. It would be good to visit a gastroenterologist to check your stomach and oesophagus, esepcially if the symptoms progress.
Your urination problems are not connected with your stomach problems. It seems like you are having a urinary infection so you should take antibiotics. The best antibiotic is the one you get from your GP after analysing your urine. You will probably get cotrimoxazole or nitrofurantoin or cephalosporins.

I hope this answer was helpful to you.
