What Causes Strong Smelling Puss Discharge From The Belly Button?
Hello. I am 31 and for the past few months I have found that there is pus coming out of my belly button which has quite a strong odour. Plus I am starting to see mucus in my stool and my stomach seems to have gotten bigger, ( I have never been over weight and it is only slightly bigger, nobody else has commented on it and in fairness I am not an active person – perhaps this is just a symptom of entering my 30’s?). I am not sure how normal these things are as individual cases or combined but both my parents have had cancer so I am a little paranoid. Should I be worried?

dear it may be due to bacterial or fungal infection of belly button due to unhygienic condition.other cause are cysts,post surgery, diabetes may cause your problem.
but what cancer your parents have!!
maintain good hygiene, avoid humidity in button. use amoxillineclavulinate 625twice a day for five days. if symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions feel free to ask.
