Hello, Just wondering if I should visit a doctor or if this will likely clear up on its own, as I would like to return to work as soon as possible. Last week, I noticed I was sleeping significantly more than usual. Three days ago, I suddenly felt awful--headache in the forehead (not as bad as a migraine, but really painful when I move suddenly or sit up), prickly sensitivity on the top of my scalp, a very mild cough, thick mucus, occasional chills, a slight fever on and off, and a weird sensation all over my body kind of like tickly numbness (doesn t hurt, but it sure feels weird). My eyes have become really sensitive when touched, and (perhaps unrelated) I have developed a minor toothache. The symptoms have persisted and occasionally get worse (especially at night--I can t seem to stay asleep). Last night, I felt extremely nauseous. Today the headache isn t as bad, but the tickly sensation is stronger, especially in my back and on the top of my head. I have no appetite; I haven t eaten anything today, but I ve drunk plenty of liquids. When I take Tylenol, thankfully the headache subsides somewhat. Thank you for your time.
