What Causes Sudden Weight Loss After Partial Hysterectomy?
Had a partial hysterectomy last July, just uterus...ovaries left in. Started with hot flashes about a month or so ago and have also had a sudden weight loss without changing die. Loss has been about 23 pounds. Is this normal...doesn t seem so from what I have researched.

Do not worry. This is normal. I do not know why this happens but the average weight loss for those who lose weight after a hysterectomy, even partial, is 20 pounds from my experience.
Maintain a healthy diet and if weight loss continues you might want to have the doctor check your thyroid status.
