What Causes Swelling In Face?

My mother in law has a problem with her left side of her face. The pain started in her back side of her ear and the left side face start to swelling and her mouth and her eye lid is going down she can t open her eyes if she want to see she has to open the eyelid with the hand

This appears to be a case of 'cellulitis', probably some skin infection starting from her left ear has caused this. She needs higher antibiotics like Third generation cephalosporins along with Dicloxacillin and Chymoral forte and analgesics like
Aceclofenac. If she is carrying 'Diabetes , her blood sugar has to be controlled .
