What Causes Swollen Green Colored Fingers After An Insulin Shot?

my daughter accidently poked her finger with an insulin pen after helping the diabetic had her insulin shot. it was her middle finger. the finger had swollen up and turned greenish, but after an hour has gone back to normal. is there anything to worry about?

Hello,
There is nothing to worry regarding this.Accidental puncturing of needle might have caused some local bruising resulting in local swelling and greenish tinge.
There is nothing to worry as nothing untoward is going to take place unless and until you have infections like HIV or Hepatitis B,which can be transmitted to your daughter.
