What Causes Swollen Leg And Ankle?
i have swollen,red areas on both legs.i have 1 large red area above the ankle and my ankle is swollen,The areas are tender to the touch and my skin feels hot and it is painful to walk..I have had no injuries and they started to show up about a week ago What do you think I have?

It looks to me that you may be having ankle synovitis. It can be due to a ankle sprain or can be inflammation of lining of ankle. I would like to suggest following test to you. CRP, ESR and Ra factor. These test will tell us if something is abnormal in blood. till that time take Brufen tablet twice daily. Also apply local heat at both ankle by hot water bag.
