What Causes Symptoms Of Gallstone Attacks After Removal Of Gallbladder?
Hi i have been ill for the past 4 days and all i want to do is sleep. I have had my gall bladder removed some yrs ago but the pain i am experiencing is the same as if i was having a gall stone attack i have a bad ache in the middle of my rid riff which goes through to my back and my back is aching so much now i can t get comfy i wondered if it was because my muscle were in spasm, I have the pain worse after i have eaten and i have been off food for a few days as i feel like vomiting but that and get hot and clammy when my ache is worse, I have had yellow diaroha for the past 4 days and couldn t stop running to the loo after drinking or eating, That has passed now i only run to the loo once i have eaten something but i have still got diaroha. I feel like i have no energy and if i had not had my gall bladder removed i would think i had all the systems of gallstones as i feel very similar to the way i did before my gall bladder op.
Abdominal pain can be due to 2 reasons gall bladder stones and gastric ulcer. In this case your gall bladder is already removed so most of time it is due to gastric ulcer. For now, consult gastroenterologist get endoscopy done. Use abdomen for any recurrent stones. Sometimes stones can be lodged in gall bladder passage.
For this you need to go with ERCP as last resort. For now, take low spicy food, plenty of water. Tab Pantoprazole 40mg early morning before breakfast. Spy sucralfate 10 ml trice a day. Follow this medication for 2 weeks and go with other investigations.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
