What Causes Tiredness, Abdominal Pain And Headaches While On Dieting?
Hello, I am 29 female and obese. I have been working out and eating healthy for 3 months now (following weight watchers plan) with a total reduction of 30lbs.
For the past 3 days, I have felt slightly ill. Constantly queasy stomach, redicuously lethargic, and a coronic but mild headache (headaches are extremely uncommon for myself).
I am not pregnant. I am not running a fever. What could be causing this? Could it just be a release of stored toxins in my body from lossing fat or a possibility of something more serious?
Is Your Diet Making You Sick? Before you blame your chronic headaches on stress or chalk up your constant colds to a weak immune system, you may want to examine your diet. Many women think that pain or other symptoms, like mood swings and hair loss, are the result of a serious medical condition, when something far more simple is the cause: their eating habits. Its important to remember that everything you consume will affect your body, from your skin to your digestive system.
Thats not to say symptoms like stomach cramps or depression don't warrant a doctors visit. But before you schedule one, youll want to take an inventory of what you've been eating or not eating and consider making an appointment with a dietitian too.
