I went for a medical last November and it showed moderate blood and traces of protien. i did another medical last week and it again showed blood and protein (3x or something i think). I was told it may be dehydration so i drank plenty of water and did another test today which was clear for protein but contained blood. She asked me if i had pain etc. etc. which i had no symptoms. What is the likely cause?
you might be suffering from renal stones or aymptomatic urinary tract infection. you have not mentioned your age. If you are older than 55 years then you must undergo cystoscopic evaluation to rule out any malignancy.
