I am 39, 150, 5'7" the top of my left forearm and top of my left hand stings for no apparent reason... my hand more so than forearm. Because I have veins that are visible it follows the pathway of that vein kind of starting near my joint in the middle of my arm. It really stings if I gently rub the vein area.
Have you had any injections in that area. If not, then it is unlikely to be a vein problem unless the vein is hard and then it could point towards vein thrombosis or blockage. If you have stinging sensations, then it is more likely a nerve problem. You could be having some nerve compression in your neck or shoulder or Thoracic outlet to cause this problem. Try taking Tab Pregabalin 75mg twice daily and see if it helps and also do warm compresses of the area. If it does not improve, do let me know. Take care. Dr Rishi from New Delhi, India.
