I'm a 41 yr old female weighing 14 stone 4 lb, I've had a DVT and a PE and suffer from osteo arthritis and asthma. I have been trying to lose weight, practically starving myself but to no avail and I was wondering if this was due to the chronic venous congestion? Thank you for your help in advance
Hi ! Weight Gain, DVT etc. are associated with sedentary life style. If a person suffering with limited physical activity related illness can gain weight. Medications and Dietary supplements for arthritis, Asthma may cause weight gain wiz. oral steroid, inhaled steroids& protein,Carbohydrates ,Fats, minerals and Vitamins supplements. I would like to suggest you to see Dietician / Nutritionist and Discuss with your Physician for the same. Take Care..
