What Causes Weight Loss, Cold Sweats, Diarrhea, Trouble Urinating After Taking Digoxin?
in the last month ive started a new med for a heart condition. it is Digoxin. ive lost 20 LBS. since starting. Ive had changes in the way food tastes, cold sweats, diahrea, nauseated stomach, trouble urinating. are these side affects to the med? since starting im able to climb a set of stairs and for a couple weeks felt better than I had for a long time, but now its taken a turn for the worse, feeling weak and lacking energy.

Short answer: Yes, metallic taste, diarrhea, nausea, sweating are known side effects of Digoxin. But I would still recommend a visit to a cardiologist as soon as possible to rule out any other related cause for your symptoms.
