What Causes White Pus Blisters On Throat, Fever And Sore Neck?
My son has white puss blisters in the back of his throat. Been running a fever of 102 and 103. His neck and spine area is real sore and tender to the touch. His fever has been going on and off since saturday.took him to the dr. Today strep test was negative. What else could it be. Hes only 6 years old
Probably your kid is suffering from acute infection in throat. There are many other microorganism which could infect throat other than strep. He is in need of proper medication which may be prescribed by your physician according to the case merit.
1. avoid cold food and beverages
2. soft bland and liquid diets are preferred.
3. warm saline (salt) gargles.
4. warm milk mixed with Turmeric powder ( 1 glass + 1/2 to one teaspoon fine turmeric powder)
5. tepid sponging for fever
Next Step: blood counts ant throat swab for microbiological examination visit an ENT surgeon or pediatrician.
