What Could Be The Cause For Continuous Bleeding After Taking Unwanted 72?

i doc. my period got over o 29 jen and i had sex on 30 jen i was safe but still i had unwanted 72 on 1st feb and after having that i started again period on 5 feb and it is still continuing and dark in colour ........i am so cnfuse and worried about it ..........don't know what to do .......?????

Hi and welcome to HCM. it was not necessary to take unwanted 72, as it was safe period. Never take these hormonal emergency contraceptives unless u wont have access to other contraceptive methods. I wont suggest any one to use these emergency birth control pills, coz they are not safe. Use of such medications frequently can cause side effects including - nausea, change in menstrual cycles (delayed or early onset of bleeding), variation of menstrual bleeding patterns (increased , decreased or intermittent spotting). Dont panic, take lots of fluids, take rest, Tab tranarest 500mg 1-0-1 for 1 day is sufficient. If it wont stop please consult doctor immediately. Use condoms rather than these pills. Regards

there was no need of that pill. Now you are having withdrawal bleeding. If it continues. it has to be terminated by D & C or you have to continue to take progesterone tab till your date of next period. Stopping that will again start normal periods
