What Could Be The Lump Found On The Left Side Of My Labia Minora?
Have a bean sized lump on the left side of my labia minora. It's below the clitoros just off to the side. Been there for a few days painful to the touch and when it was lightly touched with a needle clear liquid and blood and a pinkish orangy liquid came out. Since then it has gone down in size and is not painful to the touch. I've never had anything like this. What could it be?
I went through your query and understood your concern. It looks like you got furuncle, a bacterial infection, and now that you have drained it swelling and inflammation has gotten down. The pinkish orange liquid was nothing but blood stained pus. Although nest time you get such infection please see you physician. Improper incision and drainage may push the infection deeper. Take oral antibiotics like ciprofloxacin 500mg BD for 5 days or cefixime 500 mg BD or cephalexin 500 mg BD for 5 days in case you got residual infection. Take oral antiinflammatory like ibuprofen to bring down inflammation.
Applywarm compresses over the area. Dont manipulate it with needle or scratch it further. If you get recurrent painful lumps in the same area , see a gynecologist to rule out bartholin gland cyst.
Hope it helped.
