Yes, your
amniotic fluid level is borderline low.
Whether your fluid level will improve or not, depends on the cause of the
oligohydramnios ( decreased amniotic fluid levels )
Chromosomal anomalies and structural anomalies in the baby should be ruled out.
In a lot of cases, in the third trimester, it is due to inadequate
maternal nutrition and poor hydration.
Drink atleast 4 - 5 litres of fluids per day.
Eat well and consume a high protein diet.
Supplement your medications with protein powder daily.
Take the sachets as advised.
If you observe these precautions, chances are high that the fluid levels might increase.
Rest well and sleep if possible always in the left lateral position.
If the fluid further decreases, preterm C section might be required.
Make sure you have a
steroid shot to enhance baby's lung maturity before delivery.
