What Could Be The Tinge Of Blood Discharge Other Than The Period?

Hi, I am 26 days into a 42 day cycle. My husband and I are trying to conceive. I took Clomid days 2-7 of my period as I was prescribed. I had some tinge of blood on the toilet paper today it was just a little line about a half in inch to an inch long. I have been diagnosed with PCOS in the past. I am overweight (230) and I am 5 ft 7 1/2in tall. Could this tinge be because I am about to ovulate or is it implantation blood?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,

At day 26 of the period the bleeding can be due to ovulation also. Implantation bleeding is less likely. This can also happen due to a vigorous sex or a local injury in the area.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rakhi Tayal,
OBGYN
