Hi! i just want to know the probable cause of may headAche. It is an on and off throbbing pain in left part of my head. its like pulsating for seconds to minute. I also noticed that when i put pressure on the left side of my nape I can feel the pain radiating to the pain on the left part of my head. its like they where associated with each other. Its been reoccurring for 3 days now. I can just feel relieve from when I am in a prone position or take analgesic/paracetamol. I can also feel that when its occurring the pain is increasing when I am moving.
Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to migraine.
From the other hand a sinus infection or inflammation can not be excluded either.
I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical exam, a sinus X ray study and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate).
I would also advise you to closely monitor your blood pressure in sitting and standing up position.
If all these tests result normal, and your blood pressure values are normal, there is nothing to worry about.

What Could Cause A Throbbing Pain In The Head?
Hello! Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM! Hope to have been helpful! Kind regards, Dr. Aida
