Hi I have experienced brown vaginal bleeding and been cauterised to the cervix twice after both times being diagnosed with cervical erosion . It has been about 7 months since last cauterisation and the brown bleeding has reoccurred accompanied by discomfort around pubic bone and a tingly sensation around my thigh. I have previously had an ultrasound and cervical smears both with satisfactory results.
According to your destruction there is a possibility of recurrence of cervical erosion. Other possibilities are pelvic infection, inter-menstrual spotting mixed with vaginal discharge. Now better to get examined once again and undergo a pap smear and vaginal swab for culture and sensitivity.
Depending on the reports further management can be planned. As you are getting recurrences with cauterization, this time you may consider alternative therapies like cryotherapy, silver nitrate therapy, etc. with your doctor's advice. Which can also give good results according to literature. In case of pelvic infection both the partners should be treated simultaneously to prevent the recurrence of the problem.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
