Hello,
What I understand from the history is you are having trouble with vision, frequent
headaches and pain in the neck.
Now, this is one of the common complaints I have come across the patients I have seen in my clinical experience of 12 years of patients having a shunt.
First thing is you need to do is to meet up a
neurologist and maybe a scan needs to be done to check the position of the shunt. If the shunt is okay then your
optic nerve has to be assessed. Because any changes in the optic nerve can lead to visual changes.
Next coming to the headache, post installation of the shunt there will be changes in the pressure within the skull and the brain that is called the intracranial pressure and needs to be assessed by the neurologist so that an actual cause of pain can be figured out.
Regarding
neck pain, it may be due to changes in muscle strength and cervical disc. A
Mri will be of full insight to provide the details and a proper exercise prescription can be handed over.
My opinion is to meet up a neurologist, get self-examined in person and take up the call. You should do well.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
