My 43-yr-old daughter has awakened for the last 4-5 mornings with a terrible headache. She has a history of periodic migraines but these are not migraines, she says. She takes X-strength Excedrin and they dull and finally go away. They do not reappear later in the day, BUT next morning, again. She has mentioned that when she is on computer, lately when she looks up things will be blurry. I figured that was her age and eyesight waning. What do you think?
It seems that your daughter has a migraine. A migraine is a type of recurrent headache which occurs again and again. In her case, it is possible that she might not be getting enough sleep which is acting as a trigger factor for the migraine. There is also a chance this is due to menopause.
Here are a few things your daughter can try: Drink lots of water Sleep regularly and for at least 8 hours at a time Eat meals at regular times Taking the tablet Excedrin when she feels like she is having a headache Inhaling steam mixed with Eucalyptus oil several times a day
Follow up after 5 days. Hope this helps you
