What Could Cause Heavy Bleeding With Swollen Stomach?

I have had a Mirena coil fitted a while back and only had light spotting this morning I have woke up no pain but heavier bleeding than I have had previously and my stomach is really swollen I can't fasten any of my clothes that I could fasten yesterday is this normal or should I see my gp thanks
