Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, you have gained weight since 5 years, and trying hard since one month. Regarding weight gain always prevention is always better than cure, when ever you find some weight gain, you should get alert.
Any how it is not the matter now. Try to find out the other causes like hypothyroid, or changes in the other harmons, or anemia.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
