What Could Cause Popping Of Neck And Headaches?

My 9yr old daughters neck pops spontaneously and she keeps complaining about headaches. I have Chiari Malformation so I brought her in to her pediatrician. An ex-ray was done, and they found nothing. The complaining hasn t ceased along with the popping. What should I do?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Your child needs to be further investigated after a physical examination. Headache can be caused by several causes. One of them could be related to the eye problems or ENT problems. So evaluation of her vision and ENT evaluation are important. Depending on the examination findings your doctor may order investigations like CT Scan etc. So consult your doctor for the same.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
