What Could Cause Severe Migraine In A Teenager Needing Full EKG?

Hi, I am a mother of a 13 year old daughter who had such a severe migraine headache that she became lucid, and didnt know where she was for an entire hour. Upon doing an EEG, we just received a call that there was some abnormalty, and now her Nuerologist wants to do a FULL EKG. They wont tell me what they saw, and I am so worried, Can anyone shed any light on this? Ps~ They did the EEG to check for Epilepsy, as I have it. Thank You.

HI
Well yes EEG is done to see for Epilepsy . Abnormality doesn't mean that she is having Epilepsy . There are certain finding which will not fall into normal category or Abnormal category . These are borderline findings which needs further investigations to either confirm or refute a diagnosis .

So don't worry . Get the necessary tests done and lets see what comes out of it . Be positive .
