What Could Fever With Rashes In Stomach & Pain In Lymph Nodes Suggest?
Hello. My 5 year old daughter got a fever on Sunday around noon. I gave her Tylenol and she rested and was feeling better later on that day. The fever returned today this afternoon. I gave her Tylenol again and she took a nap and woke up good feeling happy. Fever was around 102.0. It s 10 pm and fever is back. Up to 103.6. It s down to 103. She also was complaining of pain in the neck, which I can tell our her lymph nodes that are swollen. She seems to be developing a rash on her stomach and she recently is feeling chills. She had strep about 2-3 weeks ago. I m wondering if it could be Cat Stratch since she plays with them so much? When should I take her to dr. I am getting fever down but it has been the trend a few days now of having fever and then going away. I m worried.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here of your daughter I could say that this could be bacterial infection and this need to be ruled out and blood work is advisable better have a word with pediatrician, but with the right treatment this would come around and no need to worry abut this, have a nice day.
