What Could Red, Tender Bump On Back Of Head Mean?

Hi I have a red bump on the back of my head, first noticed about a month ago. Its kind of tender and doesn t seem to be getting bigger about the size of a pencil eraser.. seems to have swollen a bit from touching it.. just has a mole removed and checked for cancer which it was not cancerous. What could it be?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have enlarged lymphnode. It can be due to reactive hyperplasia, tuberculosis, lymphoma or metastatic carcinoma. Or you may have some skin adenexal tumour or soft tissue tumour. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly. No need to worry about your melanocytic nevus.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
Thanks for using health care magic.
