What Could Swollen Metatarsal And Lymphnodes In MRI Report Suggest?

Broke my little toe 5 years ago. Left with horrendous throbbibg and burning sensation. MRI scan revealed swelling between forth and fifth metatarsal. Can anything be done? My doctor has mentioned a lymph node! Can you explain - many thanks Carrie
