What Could Taste Of Blood, Dull Ache In Upper Back With Itching Under Skin While Coughing Indicate?

Hi, I can taste blood when I cough, but there is no visible blood. I do not actually have a persistent cough, but I am coughing just a bit more than usual. I also have a dull ache in my upper back and an itch that feels like it is under the skin on my upper back, but those symptoms only appear when I cough. I am generally in very good health, and do not have any other symptoms like fatigue or high temp or anything. Is it worth bothering my doctor?

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
As per your history ,you are experiencing dull ache only when you cough that would suggest some kind of pleuritis.
I want to know your age to suggest any other diagnosis.
I would suggest you to get evaluated for fungal infections and allergic reactions.
Thank you.
