What Could Thick Vaginal Discharge, Nausea, Cramping And Tender Breasts Indicate?

Im a 18 year old girl, & possibly pregnant. For like the last month Ive been having a major increase in discharge. It's white, thick, odorless & smooth. & i think the discharge is starting to irritate me down there because it's "caking" up & itching down there. & I keep myself clean but it keeps happening. I have no std's by the way. What could b the problem?? .....Also starting back on October 8th, I had pregnancy symptoms. Like fever, neasua, cramping, spotting, headaches/migraines, breast pain, etc. & it subsided for the most part. Besides the cramping, but for the pass few days nothing. I haven't notice any blood so what could be the problem with that??? ...thanx

Hi there,
After going through your question, I am of the opinion that:
1) The kind of discharge that you are mentioning is pointing towards a fungal infection called candidiasis. You need to take anti-fungal ointment like clotrimazole to reduce the discharge and treat your infection.
2) The most reliable symptom of pregnancy is a missed period. If you have missed a period, I suggest you take a home pregnancy test first and see the results.
3) Nausea, cramping and spotting could be due to pre-menstrual syndrome or hormonal changes.

Hope this answer was helpful.

Dr. Shikha Shah
