Hi,I just got the results from a CBC I had done and most of the numbers are outside the normal range. The immature granulocytes are 1.0, Absolute neutrocytes 8.08 absolute granulocytes are 0.12, and absolute monocytes are 0.79. Should I be concerned?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Absolute neutrophil count of more than 8000 per cubic millimeter is suggestive of acute infection. Bacterial infection is the commonest cause of raised neutrophil count. Consult your primary healthcare provider to look for site of acute infection.
