Hello and welcome to HCM, A non-reactive HBeAg and reactive HBeAb suggests that there is no active or acute hepatitis B infection. Chronic hepatitis B infection is present which is harmless and there is no risk of transmission. However, family screening is recommended to assess the status of hepatitis B virus in other family members.
