What Do The Lab Test Results Indicate?

a 10years old girl complaining of recurrent abdominal pain ,easy fatiguability ,palpitation and some times headache ,arthalagia mainly at night , hx of worms in stool , no fever or weight loss on examination she is paller , pulse 96 b /min ,has average intellegnce , mild periumbical tenderness ,no artherititis , investigation:CBC :HB 11.4 ,MICROCYTIC HYPO CHROMIC CELLS , PLATELET :527 ,000 /CU MM,URINE ANALYSIS: RBC ,4-9 /PUS CELL 8-10 /HPF , STOOL ANALYSIS , NO OVA ,NO CYST ,PUS CELL IN STOOL 18-20 /HPF ,RBC ,3-5 /HPF

Thanks for writing to us

Reports suggests intestinal infection may be due to bacteria,helminths etc.Intestinal infection is indicated by presence of pus cells and RBC in stool.
She is also suffering from urinary tract infection.
Culture of stool and urine should be done so that proper antibiotics can be prescribed.
Ultrasound of abdomen should also be done.
Due to infection and blood loss,she is suffering from anemia.Underlying cause should be treated and she should be given iron rich foods and iron supplementation.
