What Do You Suggest For A Hip Injury That Is Causing Pain In The Thigh And Ankle After A Hip Replacement?
Hi I fell over a week ago very hard on my hip it has bruised & swollen up and also showing few line marks on it, but thing is I had a hip replacement 10 years ago and I wondering could I have damaged it as the pain is actually moving from the bruise itself to a dull lingering pain in my inner thigh right down to a sharp pain in my ankle
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum You had a fall on the hip, and bruised, 10 years ago you had a hip replacement surgery. You had the surgery 10 years back, and usually steel parts are placed as prosthesis. So you can have extra protection to the joint than the usual joint. So don't worry. Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods to minimise the pain. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment you may need to have an M.R.I. for diagnosis. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
