What Do You Suggest For Cystic Acne On My Back, face And Chest?

My skin has all of a sudden become extremely oily around my face, back and chest. In addition, my skin also appears to be darkening all over without exposure to sunlight. Furthermore, cystic acne has started to present itself along back, face and chest. All of these symptoms have suddenly presented over the past month and a half and just continues to get worse everyday.

Background Information: Female / 27 / Caucasian / Not pregnant and never have been pregnant / took a 6 month cycle of Accutane over a year ago / I have never had cystic acne on back or chest before but have had it on my face before / eating habits and lifestyle habits have not changed

I am looking for a possible explanation and possible diagnoses.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

I can understand your concern for the pimples a in yourself. Acne or pimples are youth related problem and is not a disease per say.
A gel containing clindamycin phosphate 1.2% w/w and tretinoin gel can be very helpful to you for long term.

It is a usual response of the cream and you should not be worried about. The only precaution you should follow is to apply the cream in very thin layer and that too over affected area only.

Take a proper guidance and follow up with a good dermatologist so that all the problem of acne can be dealt best for future time.

Take care
