What Do You Suggest For Pseudocysts Being Created Out Of Which 2 Have Shrunk And 1 Has Grown?
I had a blocked pancreatic duct-by a gall stone, in Sept., 2013. Three psuedocysts were created. Two have shrunk & one has grown from 6.5 cm to 11cm in the last 2 months. I have been told to wait 3 months for the fluids to drain. I need a 2nd opinion, and would like a surgeon in the Sacramento area who is a specialist in the field.

When pancreatic secretions are leaked in peritoneal cavity, inflammatory reaction against these secretions leads to formation of pseudocysts.Self resolution of pseudocyst is always desired as surgical drainage is not free of recurrence.So 3 months wait seems justified.Regards.
