Dear Sir,Today got report of Ultrasound(Gravid Uterus) of my wife like below:-Single live foetus is seen inside the uterus with cephalic presentation.No gross congenital anomaly of foetus is seen at this stage of gestation. Gestational age is approx-36weeks+/-2weeks(EDD-18-03-14).Liquor volume is normal.Maximum liquor depth-5.4cm. No cord vessel is seen around the neck at present.Placenta is lying anteriorly in upper & mid body region. Cervix-normal & length-3.6cm. Cerdiad pulsation(149b/m/r) & foetal movements are normal. EFW-2.6kg+/-200gm.I want to know is this above report is normal or any critical? what is the meaning of EFW?I will be very greatfull if you explain this report.Thanks & Regards Dharmeswar Deb Assam,SIlchar
