What Does Heterogeneous Changes Of The Myometrium Mean?
Hi, I had an transvaginal ultrasound done which I was told was normal but after receiving results I saw something that concerned me. The report says "Heterogeneous changes of the myometrium, no focal masses." Everything else appeared normal. Cause for concern?

No, I don't think that there is nothing much to worry about this condition, heterogeneous myometrium develops due to a condition called adenomyosis in which there is irregularities in myometrium and there can be associated irregularities in menstrual cycle. Start with Norethisterone tablets 5 mg for 10 days for 3 months. I think it will be of some help.
