What Does MRI Report Suggest?

Hello Sir ! My MRI cervical spine report shows posterior bulge of c4-5 and c6-7 i.v.discs producing indention over anterior subarachnoid space. I am feeling pain most often. I am 34 years and having this problem from last 3 years.Usually I take nocoxia MR tab. I get only temporary relief.Pl give ur advice.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

There is disc bulging between the bones in cervical spine vertebrae C 4 - C5 and C 5 - C 6. The nerve roots pass through these neural foramina and you might have severe nerve root compression at that level which is giving you pain. The covering of the spinal cord is slightly having pressures effects due to bulging disc. Please avoid doing strenous activity involving your neck and making sudden movements at the cervical spine. Physiotherapy may help. If the pain is severe, surgical treatment may help.
