What Does PSA Of 2.8 And Bilirubin Of 2.3 Indicate While On HCG Diet?
I just finished the HCG diet and went in to have a series of blood tests done. I am 50 and lost 22 pounds in 26 days. the tests showed that my PSA was 2.8 (was 0.7 about 4 years ago) and my Bilirubin was 2.3. I am wondering if the HCG temporarily affected my PSA and if a liver/gallbladder flush will correct my Bilirubin level...thanks in advance

Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Good to know, you are trying to loose and you have lost good weight. 2. PSA levels are within normal range. However, HCG diet would not affect prostate. You can get a digital rectal examination 3. bilirubin's is elevated. If direct is elevated, get a liver enzyme study. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
