What Does 'Single Foetal Pole Present With A CRL Of 19.5mm'mean?
Hi doctor
My wife's latest ultrasound report is follows -
Uterus contains single gestational sac Single foetal pole present with a CRL of 19.5mm, gestational age of 8 weeks 2 days No foetal cardiac activity observed at the moment
The report mentions the presence of a fetus measuring 19.5 mm in length. This roughly corresponds to a fetal age of 8 weeks 2 days. As cardiac activity is not being appreciated at the time of scan. The fetal age must be matched with the last menstrual period date. I suggest you go for a repeat scan in 15 days to confirm cardiac activity.
