me,valacule means an depression in root of tongue just bet folds of thrroat,which not only holds(saliva in valeculae) saliva helps in process of deglution if it is in oral cavity,breathing diffcult if in nasal cavity. in your case,it llk like usually benign tumor are common than any cancer, go as per advice of ent surgeon, stop pan chewing&smoking if so.take care before any diaster to happen.bye
