What Does A Blister Looking Bump On Uvula Indicate?
Hello! I have a bump on my uvula that looks like a water blister. The blister has been there for three weeks. The blister doesnt hurt, but it does feel a little irritated. But not much. Because sometimes I forget about it and look to see of it is still there. But when it seems to be irritated it is usually at night. I have had light cough. I'll feel a tickle in my throat and have to cough. I did go to a doctor about a week and a half ago. She gave me some antibiotic and told me if it was still there to visit an ENT. I finished my antibiotic and the blister is still there. I cannot tell if it has changed at all. Now I am just a little concerned. Female 19 years old 5'2" 122 lbs And healthy.... Was prescribed adderall a month and a half ago. This is the only medicine that I take. Thank you.
I have gone through your query regarding a bumps on your uvula with a blister. I hope you are having uvular ulcer may be because of dyspepsia or oropharyngeal candidiasis.
You may take antacid with PPI and may apply local applicant having antifungal + steroids. If by this your blister heals up than o.k. otherwise examination of throat will become necessary to carryout further treatment therefore consultation with ENT doctor will become essential.
Regards.
